Pupil and Sports Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

Your child will be eligible if they are registered as eligible for  free school meals, have been registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the past 6 years,  or are a looked after child. Services premium is for: children whose parent(s) are serving in the regular UK armed forces, children of ex regular UK armed forces personnel who were serving in the last 3 years, children where at least one parent died while serving in the UK armed forces and the child is in receipt of a pension under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) and the War Pensions Scheme (WPS).

You are eligible to be registered for free school meals if you receive either: Universal credit (provided you have a net income of £7400 or less),

Also you are eligible if your receive: Income Support, Income-based Jobseekers Allowance, income-related employment and support Allowance, support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, the guaranteed element of State Pension Credit, Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190), Working Tax Credit run-on – paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit.
