How can I support the transformation of children’s lives in Enfield?

We want every partner we work with to have direct impact on the lives of our children. Below is a variety of examples of how you can support One Degree Academy. Each one can be tailored to suit the requirements of your organisation and ensure the best outcomes for our Children. We can only do this with you help. Please contact us to find out more or use our Virgin Money Giving page to show your support.

Disadvantaged pupils make excellent progress at One Degree Academy because of the outstanding teaching they receive and the effective use of additional funding

Examples of how you can help change our children's lives:

Project: Outdoor Play Space

Impact: We want our Early Years provision to benefit from a wide variety of learning opportunities. You will have the opportunity to support your own learning/play piece in our outdoor play area. This might be creating a theatre area for public speaking, developing our herb garden or creating a race track for our toy bikes.

Support required: £100 - £1,000

Project:  Forest school and Farm area

Impact: All our children come from urban environments. We are developing a small wild area in our school to expose our children to nature and provide a unique learning environment for our children. You will have the opportunity to support a complete new area, be this a fire pit, aquaponics kit, outdoor classroom or sensory wall.

Support required: £500 - £2,000

Project: Psychotherapy

Impact: We want to support some of our most vulnerable children to get the best possible start in life. Your support will help pay for specialist support from leading providers such as The Anna Freud Centre. This will enable regular therapy for some of our most vulnerable children and families.

Support required: £20,000

Project: One Degree Academy Orchestra

Impact: Using the Kodaly method, we want all our children to develop their musical literacy. The privilege of playing a musical instrument should be for everyone. Your support will provide for a early years music teacher and instruments to enable all our children to develop musical skills and musical concepts.

Support required: £30,000
