We want every partner we work with to have a direct impact on the lives of our children. Below is a variety of examples of how you can support One Degree Academy. Each one can be tailored to suit the requirements of your organisation and ensure the best outcomes for our children. Your help can have a huge impact on a child’s life.

You can help change our children's lives
Project: ODA Early Help
Impact: Not all of our families live in secure home learning environments. Many of our parents have no recourse to public funds and can’t afford school uniform for their children. Some of our families struggle for food and some have little access to basic services like washing machines, food or the internet. Your support can provide a food package, child’s uniform grant, free clubs and after school care for a year.
Support required
Child’s uniform grant and food package: £80
Free clubs and after school care: £300 for a year
Psychotherapy family workshop: £1,800 for 6 workshops
Music lessons for a class for a year: £2,300
Set of chromebooks to enable access to technology at home: "£4,000 for 20 devices
Project: Outdoor Space – Our new site
Impact: We want our Early Years provision to benefit from a wide variety of learning opportunities. All our children come from urban environments. We are developing a school farm to expose our children to nature and provide a unique learning environment for our children. Support your own learning/play piece in the outdoor play area at our brand-new site. This might be creating a named theatre area for public speaking, building a water area for wet play, developing a sponsored herb garden, providing housing for our animals or creating a race track for our toy bikes.

Chicken enclosure with full height run: £1,200

Community hire facilities– Our new site
Impact: We want our site to be used by the community. We currently have no adult changing rooms, toilet and shower facilities to allow our community to hire and use the sporting and hall facilities
