Examples of how you support will help transform children’s lives:
Project: Outdoor Play Space
Impact: We want our Early Years provision to benefit from a wide variety of learning opportunities. You will have the opportunity to support your own learning/play piece in our outdoor play area. This might be creating a theatre area for public speaking, developing our herb garden or creating a race track for our toy bikes.
Support required: £100 – £1000
Project: Forest school
Impact: All our children come from urban environments. We are developing a small wild area in our school to expose our children to nature and provide a unique learning environment for our children. You will have the opportunity to support a complete new area, be this a fire pit, outdoor classroom or sensory wall.
Support required: £500 – £2000
Project: Sports area
Impact: We want to provide a dedicated outdoor sports area for our children to play football. You will have the opportunity to support us to buy a portable, mobile soccer pitch and multi-use games area (MUGA). This will allow our children to develop a passion for sports and to play safely whilst in our temporary accommodation.
Support required: £3500 – £8000
Impact: We want to support some of our most vulnerable children to get the best possible start in life. Your support will help pay for specialist support from leading providers such as PLACE2BE and the Tavistock Centre. This will enable regular therapy for some of our most vulnerable children and families.
Support required: £20000
Project: One Degree Academy Orchestra
Impact: Using the Kodaly method, we want all our children to develop their musical literacy. The privilege of playing a musical instrument should be for everyone. Your support will provide for a early years music teacher and instruments to enable all our children to develop musical skills and musical concepts.
Support required: £30000
